The Aeromexico Airline Company is a flag carrier airline of Mexico based in Mexico City. The Airline Company operated scheduled services to nearly 90 destinations in the American content with the Caribbean, Europe and Asia. The central base hub of the Airline Company is Mexico City. The secondary hubs are in Guadalajara and Monterrey.
Aeromexico is the Airline Company which works closely with US carrier Delta Airlines which owns part of the Airline, and in the year 2015, it announced its intention to acquire up to 49%. JCA, or the Joint Commercial Agreement, came into effect on 8 May 2017; there was an alliance between USA and Mexico regarding the joint information about the costs, revenues and flights.
In 2016, the company made a record of flying 19.703 million passengers.

1934
Aeronaves de Mexico was born in 1934, and each ticket used to cost 30 pesos.
1957
The first class luxury arrived abroad Britannia, and Los Angeles and New York were the two first international routes of the Airlines.
1963
Douglas DC-8 was the Airline covering Mexico-Miami-Madrid and the only Airline directly connecting Miami with Europe.
1968
In 1968, our Airline became the official transport of the Olympics in Mexico.
1998
In 1998, a website was created, and two years later, tickets were sold online.
2000
The Skyteam Alliance was founded with Air France, Delta Airlines and Korean Air. It currently has 18 member airlines.
2006
This year, flights to Tokyo began, and AeroMexico became the first Latin American airline with direct flights to Asia.
2022
The airline has concluded its financial restructuring process and is close to pre-pandemic operating levels. Now, the ‘New Air’ campaign is being launched.

In 2016, the airlines added the 2Ku Wifi service by Gogo to around 800 aircraft. This also includes access to OTT platforms such as Netflix. It also added Panasonic broadband Internet on its 787-8 and 787-9.
In July 2016, Aeromexico also launched a new website and check-in kiosk at the Mexico City airport. In the same year, the airlines also co-sponsored the launch of the startup accelerator MassChallenge in Mexico.
Chat platforms
Aeromexico became the very first Airline in the Americas to launch its chatbot. This chatbot enables customers to search, track and book flights by interacting with a virtual assistant on Facebook Messenger. On April 2017, a press conference took place in which the airlines earned immense praise from Facebook for being among the first few companies worldwide to launch the Chat Extension function.
It also allows the users to pull up the Aerobot during a group chat. The Aerobot launched the ability to ask questions using AI and natural language processing.
Later, in September 2017, the airline announced that it would be among the first few companies worldwide to start services on Whatsapp’s new Enterprise solution.
In February 2018, the Airline Company also announced the development of additional features with its partner Yalochat.
New destinations
The Airline focused on strengthening the network and making connections much easier and more frequent to gain more worldwide adulation. The Airlines also entered new international markets. In 2006, it also started operations in Tokyo, Mexico City to Tijuana. In 2008, service to Shanghai began from Mexico City to Tijuana.
It also included some new destinations in 2015-2026 such as Panama City, Santo Domingo, Vancouver, Toronto, Medellin, Austin, Amsterdam, Cozumel and Boston. Aeromexico also successfully launched service to Seoul from the Mexico City on 1 July 2017.
The Delta-Aeromexico venture took place between June 2017-June 2018 and the companies worked to enhance the connectivity between Mexico and the US. It also launched new Aeromexico flights such as
